Experience and taste authentic Porteño flavors on this culinary themed walking tour that includes four stops at local dive restaurants. Learn about Argentina’s culture and cuisine and meet other friendly travelers during this relaxed and social tour. The tour begins by tasting a traditional Argentine street food, choripan, at an old fashioned parrilla followed by a handmade meat empanada. Next comes a variety of classic parrilla cuts of meat accompanied by salad and wine at a local restaurant filled with regular customers. To complete the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to try some of the best ice cream in the city. The walking tours are conducted on Tuesday and Friday around Las Cañitas, a neighborhood known for its beautiful tree lined avenues, historic polo fields, and burgeoning culinary and nightlife scene. On Wednesday and Saturday, the tour is conducted in San Telmo, which is perfect for those visitors who love historic architecture, classic parrillas filled with working class Porteños, and have a desire for a little adventure.
