Following the local architectural traditions, the Hotel Monterrey was born from the restoration of an elegant republican building, the work of the French architect Gastón Lelarge at the end of the 19th century. Hotel Monterrey Cartagena rooms are classified into colonial rooms with a balcony and a view of the walled center.
The top floor of the building is the Mirador Terrace “LA HEROICA” with the best panoramic view of the walled city, it offers a magical sunset where you can enjoy refreshing drinks or cocktails with a permanent setting for 20 people and for events it has the capacity of 150 people in the cocktail and 120 people for dinner. Now we have a Bar and Pool service.
In the interior garden of the Hotel Monterrey , you will find the “Café del Patio” with capacity for 20 people, where you can enjoy our breakfast outdoors in a cozy atmosphere.
On the first floor of the hotel is the Restaurant-Bar called ” BRASSERIE MONTAIGNE ” where you can enjoy dishes from local, international and French cuisine; as well as drinks and cocktails for your choice in a very refined and familiar environment.
