7 Bedroom Rio de Janeiro Villa 1
Location: Joá, Rio de Janeiro
Address: R. Jackson de Figueiredo, S/N, Joá, Rio de Janeiro.
Incredible attention to detail, awe-inspiring mountain and ocean views, and color themed rooms all grace this incredible beach house. François-Xavier Dussol, a French botique hotelier, carefully imagined all of the details within this antique yet contemporary house.
All seven rooms, each named by their color, come with a king-size bed and views to the tropical lushness that awaits outside. The bathrooms of each room match their color, as do their respective i-Pods that play Brazilian and international music. Everything from the light fixtures to the chairs to the bedside lamps were hand-picked for each room.
The common area radiates funky modern style, so carefully bringing together a variety of colors. On the terrace, everyone can lay back and take in the views of Rio’s best sites: the ocean, São Conrado beach, the mountain of Gávea, Christ the Redeemer and the Cagarras Islands.
With meals prepared by Chef Ricardo Hiltz, you cannot miss a moonlight dinner on the open terrace, overlooking the ocean.
A hidden Jewel of Rio de Janeiro, Joa is one of the most secluded and luxurious areas of the city. Located just before Barra da Tijuca, the roads in Joa are inside the Tijuca Florest and, most of its exuberant properties are on top of cliffs overlooking the ocean.
Joa also has a private little beach called Joatinga, which is visited by locals and also by people coming from neighbouring areas like Leblon, Ipanema and Barra da Tijuca. Joatinga is ideal for playing beach soccer, voley, surfing and chilling. Joa is home to the futbol legend Pele and various famous people looking for a more reserved area, this explain the many beautiful mansions and the lack of businesses as restaurants and shops for example.
Still it is a very quick drive to either Ipanema or Barra da Tijuca, which offer all options of shops and restaurants.
