TGW Travel Group was founded in 2004 from a simple realization: great travel isn’t just about where you go—it’s about how confidently and smoothly the experience unfolds once you’re there.

The idea was born between two MBA students after a brutal midterm and a couple of well-earned beers. Both were avid travelers who kept running into the same problem. Booking flights and hotels was easy, but once on the ground, travelers were often left navigating unfamiliar cities, relying on outdated guidebooks, or being pushed toward tourist traps that didn’t reflect the real destination.

TGW was created to solve that problem.

The TGW Concept

From the beginning, our goal has been to offer travelers a no-hassle, locally connected experience—the kind you’d have if a trusted friend were showing you around.

In our early years, this often meant combining daytime sightseeing with nightlife and entertainment in destinations where access and local knowledge mattered most.
