Heliconia Amazon River Lodge is located on the banks of the Amazon River in the middle of the Peruvian Jungle. To get there, we need to take a glide over the river and sail an hour and a half from the city of Iquitos. Away from all distractions, we are part of the Yanamono community in the Indiana district.
International flights to and from Iquitos are now being serviced by Copa Airlines, initially from Panama. From Lima, fly to Iquitos via domestic airlines with several flights daily. 90-minute flight.
From the Iquitos Airport, we will transfer you to Bellavista Port, where you will board our motorized boat for 1.15 hours downstream along the Amazon River. Come to our jungle lodge on the banks of the Amazon River and experience-rich flora and fauna of the Amazon.

Our facilities are located on the banks of the Amazon River and in the middle of the Amazon rainforest. Rooms, corridors, and space built of wood and roofed with irapay leaves. In addition to a pool in the middle of the lodge, you will feel like you are in a rustic and refreshing atmosphere.

Please note that due to the distance away from the city, the Lodge has a power generator with limited WIFI and limited electricity hours to conserve energy. The times that the Lodge has power and internet are:
6 to 9am , noon to 3pm, 8pm to midnight. The lodge also does NOT have hot water but the water temperature is generally very mild and not cold.Â
