The concept of Avantgarde is based on the building, which dates back to the New-State period, ie the 1940s. Like avant-garde artists, we set out to create something completely new, with the goal of establishing a place where art is not only a compliment but the focus of attention in every way.
The result is the Torel Avantgarde, where you can get carried away by the art and experience all its aspects. It is a space to live art, touch art, and feel the heart and passion of the artist.
All of the rooms in Torel Avantgarde are named after a famous Avantgarde artist from the fields of art, design, literature, architecture, science, etc: Ranging from Francis Bacon, Charles & Ray Eames, Amadeu Souza-Cardoso to Alberto Giacometti.
The design and decoration of each room reflect the personality and specific vision of the artist. We have 27 rooms and 20 suites. Our rooms and suites in the ‘Superior’ categories feature a balcony. Rooms and suites in the ‘Deluxe’ categories as well as the Royal Suite feature a balcony and view to the river.
