Come and discover the wonders of cultural manifestations and typical foods of Bahia in a delicious dinner followed by a show with the best of Bahia’s folklore, bringing the attractions of Candomblé, Maculelê, Puxada de Rede, Dança do Caboclo, Roda de Samba and a wonderful presentation of Capoeira (traditional slave fighting).
The African influence on Salvador, Bahia is undeniable. The region’s customs and history come from this influence and The Bahia by Night Dinner Show gives you a glimpse of it through acting, dancing, and great local cuisine!
Capoeira, a pure afro-Bahia martial art, and dance and the percussion rhythms representing the heritage. The African goddess’s dancing represents the Candomble religion and each Orixá representing one force of nature; such as fire, water, earth, etc.
The Maculelê dance played with long knives (slaves folklore representing the sugar cane workers). Roda de Samba shows a variety of the original samba performance by singing and clapping hands. The atmosphere is full of energy and vibrant.
