This Concha y Toro Wine Tour will leave from your hotel and head towards the south of the city, to the region of Cajón del Maipo (about an hour from Santiago).
This is an area in the countryside full of beautiful landscapes, mountains, grapevines and various types of fruit. We will finally arrive at the world-famous vineyard, Concha y Toro.

Concha y Toro is the main exporter of wine in Latin America and one of the most important wine brands in the world, with a presence in more than 135 countries.
More than a century producing fine wines of excellence. At the end of the 19th century, in 1883, when wine exploitation was just taking off in Chile, the renowned Chilean politician and entrepreneur Don Melchor Concha y Toro ordered noble French varietals from the Bordeaux region and planted then in Pirque, Maipo Valley.
Hiring French enologist Monsieur Labouchère to oversee his wine production, this visionary founded this vineyard, more than 130 years ago.
To start the tour, you will stroll through the gardens, park, and exterior of the summer residence of the Concha y Toro family towards the end of the 19th century.
Your guide will take you to the garden of grape varietals and vineyard to learn about where the Concha y Toro wine comes from at the Varietal Garden, where you will find 26 varietals of wine grapes.
Then you will visit the traditional wine cellars and a hidden area holding one of the secrets of the vineyard, El Casillero del Diablo.
Furthermore, the tour provides the opportunity to take part in a wine tasting session, allowing people to keep their wine glasses as a memory of the experience. There will be some time to visit the Concha y Toro shop before returning to the hotel.
