Eiffel Tower Small Group Tour

The Eiffel Tower Small Group Tour is the perfect way to quickly see one of the world’s greatest landmarks.   To begin your tour, you will meet at the tour agency office, located near the Port de la Bourdonnais, 15 minutes before the time indicated. On your way to the Iron Lady, our guide will give you information about the Champ de Mars and the Trocadéro. The Trocadero square is located at the top of a hill that overlooks beautiful gardens and offers an exceptional view of the Eiffel Tower. Nowadays, it is home to the Palais de Chaillot that includes the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine, the National Marine Museum, and the Musée de l’Homme. The Champ-de-Mars is located at the bottom of the Eiffel Tower, where Parisians like to sit and have a picnic or enjoy the dizzying view on the iron monument. During the times surrounding the Revolution, a lot of manifestations and Paris Universal exhibitions took place there.

Your skip-the-line ticket will give you a quick access to the security controls located at the bottom of the Eiffel Tower. Then you will take the elevator that will lead you to the 2nd floor of the Tower. Our guide will tell you anecdotes about its construction for the Universal Exposition of 1889. Created by Gustave Eiffel, the Tower received many criticisms on its architecture and was then supposed to be dismantled at the end of the exposition. It was notably called “the big giraffe full of holes,” but it eventually became trendy when it welcomed almost 2 million visitors.  Nowadays, from its 324 meters high, overlooking Paris with its 10 100 tons of steel and shining with 20 000 light bulbs, the Eiffel Tower welcomes 7 million visitors each year.

With a 360-degree view, our guide will show you the main monuments located around the Eiffel Tower. On the other side of the Champ-de-Mars is located the Military School (Ecole Militaire in French) that gathers the upper military education organizations. You will also be able to spot Les Invalides, which you can easily recognize by its golden dome, housing Napoleon’s tombstone. Very close to it is also located the Quai Branly Museum, dedicated to the arts and civilizations of Africa, Asia, Oceania, and non-eastern Americas, as well as the Palais Bourbon, where the National Assembly seats.

You will gaze at the exceptional panorama in front of you and see many of the main monuments of Paris. Among the landmarks, you can admire the Sacré-Coeur at the top of the Montmartre hill, the Arc de Triomphe overlooking the Champs-Elysées Avenue, the Louvre and Orsay museums, or Notre-Dame Cathedral on the picturesque Ile de la Cité. You will have time to enjoy the view and take beautiful pictures.

At the end of the guided tour, you will get to the 1st floor so that you can experience thrills while testing the glass floor at 57 meters high. You will then be able to stay in the Eiffel Tower as long as you like.
