Laguna Humantay Full Day Tour is an option designed for people who like hiking and nature and do not have many days, on the route we will appreciate beautiful landscapes, crops of different products such as corn, avocado, squash and others that occur in this Limatambo Valley The Humantay lagoon is 4180 meters above sea level with a turquoise color, and the Humantay or Apu Humantay peaks are connected with nature.
Laguna Humantay Full Day Tour Description:
This full-day tour gives you the opportunity to visit this turquoise colored lagoon located at the base of the Humantay mountain, which takes 1.5 hours ascending walk to reach this paradise on the mountains. Laguna Humantay or Umantay is one of the most spectacular landscapes along the Salkantay Trail.
Humantay is one of the snow-capped mountains in the Vilcabamba mountain range. As the snow melts it makes a beautiful lagoon.
During the Laguna Humantay Full Day Tour, we will provide you with a professional service supported by our professional guides and transported by modern and safe vehicles and you will try the local dishes since this tour included lunch and breakfast.
Enjoy the views of the Humantay mountain and Salkantay while you hike up to the Humantay lagoon. Once you arrive, you will have enough time to enjoy the spectacular views. The English speaking guides will be with you during this hike and lunch will also be included.
We pick you up from your hotel in Cusco from 5:00 to 5:30 am to drive you for 2 hours to Mollepata where we stop to provide you breakfast, then we continue 1 more hour by car to the trail. We start hiking for 2 hours up to the Humantay Lake, once at the lake you have time for photography and exploring the area.
Afterward, you walk back down for one hour to Soraypampa to take the vehicle back to Mollepata for lunch. After lunch, we head back to Cusco where you will arrive around 6 pm.
Starting Point:Â Pick up from 5:00 to 5:25 am from the hotel in Cuzco.
Ending Point:Â Drop off in Cuzco at the main square around 6 pm, if you tell us in advance we can drop you at your hotel.

- Once you reach the starting point of the hike to Humantay Lake, If you are not able to walk, you can rent horses to ride directly from the local comuneros.
