This evening tour takes you to discover Escazu – the Capital’s upscale suburb. On route a winding paved mountain country road with awesome “vistas” brings you to Tiquicia. Here a traditional farmhouse with 150 year old tiles awaits to offer you a genuine Costa Rican ambiance where you will be able to sample local food together with national drinks served in the kitchen area. A typical dance presentation takes place during your stay while you enjoy amazing views of the entire Central Valley.
The show, called Tierra Tica is under the direction and supervision of the Ramírez family and is presented with pleasure and spontaneity. It is a journey through the most representative stages of Costa Rican folklore concluding with the Cimarrona which is the jubilant dance of the giants, which takes place outside the restaurant overlooking the city while several local artisans show you beautiful pieces of jewelry made with stones, tree seeds, and natural fibers, that you can buy as souvenirs to take back home.
