Description:
Bursting with history, Lisbon is an increasingly cosmopolitan city. Built on seven hills on the banks of the River Tagus, it exudes irresistible charm. Land of navigators and conquerors, the Portuguese capital is a window onto a world of historical discoveries, where locals live at a modern pace.
It is at this crossroads of the ancient and modern worlds that the Corpo Santo Hotel Lisboa lies, on Corpo Santo square, in the historical quarter of the Cais do Sodré, an area known for its bustling day and nightlife.
Offering superb service, the Corpo Santo Hotel Lisboa was built to share this cultural heritage in a welcoming atmosphere of understated luxury, where the past and the present coexist in perfect harmony.
Each one of the hotel’s five floors is designed to take us on a journey through the history of Portuguese expansion in the world. Africa, Asia, Brazil, and, of course, Lisbon; each floor has an aroma emblematic of its regions, such as coffee or cinnamon.
The hotel has 75 rooms, of which two are suites, located on the top floor, providing a panoramic view of the cosmopolitan Cais do Sodré square and the tranquil River Tagus. Thanks to the building’s pombaline architecture, each room is different, making each stay unique. The decoration reflects Lisbon’s laid-back lifestyle through shades of brown and beige, with bursts of natural light and a few traditional details such as the essential azulejo tiles.
The bathrooms include a chromotherapy system, a treatment that, through the alternation of colors, reestablishes the balance and harmony between body, mind, and soul. Red stimulates, blue soothes, yellow brings joy and green is relaxing; enabling each guest to choose his or her state of mind. Each room and suite also has a pillow menu, minibar, Nespresso coffee machine, Ultra HD Television, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth speakers, and a digital safe with LED lighting.
