Located in the oldest neighbourhood of Lisbon, Alfama. Conveniently located in the heart of Alfama, one of Lisbon’s most legendary neighbourhoods, the Hotel is just steps away from the city’s main tourist attractions. St. George’s Castle, Sé Cathedral, traditional bars and restaurants, Fado houses, down-town Lisbon and Praça de Comércio, museums, belvederes, the famous no. 28 tram which passes right outside the door of the Hotel.
Our rooms are equipped with a queen size bed and a range of amenities such as an electronic key, individually-controlled air conditioning, Wi-Fi Internet service, smart cable package TV, telephone, safe, hair-dryer, tea and coffee facilities, toiletries, pillow menu and iron and ironing board (upon request).
All 43 rooms boast comforts such as pillow menus and laptop-compatible safes, as well as perks like free WiFi and air conditioning.
Hotel Convento do Salvador is an innovative socio-economic project which sets out to support the cultural activities of the Centro Convento do Salvador, geared towards children and youths, and operating in the same building.
The services offered by the Hotel, namely the organisation of meetings and events, are a result of a liaison with this Youth Centre, which has different types of venues and equipment at its disposal. Both the Hotel and Centre belong to the Association for the Cultural Promotion of Children (APCC), a non profit, public utility organisation.
A display of artworks by some of the most renowned Portuguese contemporary artists may be viewed throughout the Hotel, in both common and private areas. As a tribute to the art of Portuguese tiles, the Pedrita duo were invited to paint the large panel in the hall of the Hotel
Situated in Alfama, the oldest historical district of Lisbon, Hotel Convento do Salvador offers spaces for your meetings and corporate events. The Hotel is an innovative Social Economy project, aiming to support the activity developed by Centro Convento do Salvador, which operates in the same building, and whose cultural programming is addressed to children and youth.
The services that we offer of organization of meetings and events are possible through the articulation with this Youth Center. Both the Hotel and the Centre belong to APCC which is a Public Utility and non-profit youth association.
