The Lasala Plaza Hotel is housed in a building dating back to 1917, completely renovated yet preserving its original architectural characteristics. Visiting it means taking a trip back in time to the real, classic Donostia, when the city was a destination fashionable with royalty and European high society.
This context may help to explain the madcap idea of putting a solarium and 360º panoramic views of the city on the hotel roof, like a spa.
