Located in the heart of Lisbon, in one of its most central squares – D. Pedro IV Square world-wide known as Rossio – it is in place of the historical Café Portugal that emerges this new hotel concept.
My Story Hotel Rossio goes beyond what is just another hotel in downtown Lisbon. It is a breath of modernity, comfort, well-being, elegance, and excellent location.
All together in a four-story building whose roots date back to the 18th century and where the walls, although painted with a fresh taste, leave memories that history does not forget.
Here you will find 46 rooms spread over four floors full of history and inspire you to a stay full of details. The sophistication, modernity, and refinement of every decorative detail stand out in your eyes and make My Story Hotel Rossio a hotel that combines charm, history, and comfort in downtown Lisbon.
Café Portugal restaurant opened on April 16, 1938, one of the most historic spaces of Rossio, Café Portugal, for over 30 years, people were looking for this restaurant to taste typical Portuguese dishes.
In the ’70s the restaurant closed, becoming one of the Seaside shops. Currently, the shoe store remains in the same place, but the rest of the building is a hotel named My Story Hotel Rossio.
Because it is located in the same place as the former Café Portugal and to honor such a reference, the name of the hotel restaurant has the same name as the old space.
Not only the name that remained, but the base of Portuguese cuisine with a touch of modernity also lives up to the name of the space that lives the present, with eyes on the future, not forgetting the past
