El Palace Barcelona Hotel

Rating: 5 star
Location: Barcelona
Address: Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes 668, Barcelona

In 2017, the current El Palace Barcelona Hotel continues with its ambitious comprehensive refurbishment in order to recover the splendour, classic style and glamour of its greatest years.

Special attention has been paid to offering top-class cuisine and the public areas, presidential suites and standard rooms have been carefully restored with handmade carpets, restored antiques and exact replicas of objects such as lamps and curtains.

Once of the most noteworthy works has been the seventh floor, with the creation of the Diana Garden. A romantic 750 m2 area with more than fifty species of plants, fountains, pergolas and a pool, inspired by the Barcelona of the twenties and its loveliest gardens

El Palace Barcelona Hotel has 120 guest rooms fully-equipped with the latest technology. All decorated with the elegant and historical style of our classic luxury.

El Palace Barcelona Hotel has been linked to culture, beauty and glamour throughout history. Preserving this essence, the presidential suites have been restored in homage to the Fine Arts. Each suite is inspired by a school of art (painting, dance, architecture, literature, sculpture and music) and, in turn, by a famous celebrity, who has, in some way, had a close relationship with the hotel and has made a great contribution to the world thanks to their art.

If you are looking for one of the pretties roof gardens in Barcelona where you can enjoy delicious signature cuisine, a visit to the Winter Garden is a must. An intimate restaurant that recreates an indoor garden, with only a few tables that are overseen by an attentive team of the highest level (maître, sommelier and waiters) who look after every detail to ensure everything is perfect for you.

Cast iron furniture inspired by antique designs, bamboo armchairs dating back to the hotel's beginnings, welcoming lighting, views of the garden pool and beautiful creations by the artist Carol Moreno will transport you to another time. All while enjoying a wonderful à la carte or set tasting menu of Mediterranean cuisine and local produce, designed by the surprising imagination of our chef, Marc Mallasén. You won't be able to resist.
