South America is a huge continent and it has so many incredible places so it’s extremely hard to choose the Best of South America on one trip. For most of us, our vacation time is limited so unfortunately we can’t take a year off to backpack around South America. Based on our individual destinations, customer feedback and our staff’s personal experiences, we have put together an incredible package that highlights the Best of South America in a couple of weeks. This package can be customized to add or reduce destinations as well as daily excursions. The order of the package can also be changed depending on your departure city and cost of airfare.
Our Best of South America Travel Package includes Peru (Lima , Machu Picchu & Cuzco), Argentina (Buenos Aires & Puerto Iguazu) & Brazil (Foz de Iguacu & Rio de Janeiro). To get to Peru, you will need to go through Lima, which has a beautiful historic center and is known for its incredible food. Cuzco will be your next stop. It was the center of the Incan empire and will dazzle you with its mix of Spanish colonial and Inca architecture. While in Cuzco, you will have tours to Machu Picchu – “The Lost City of the Incas” and the Sacred Valley. Following Cuzco, you will head to Buenos Aires, which is known as the Paris of South America for its European feel. Buenos Aires offers incredible shopping, nightlife and food (if you love steak, you will be in heaven!). Following Buenos Aires, you will go to Iguazu Falls, which is among one of the Wonders of the World. It’s on the border of Brazil & Argentina so it’s convenient stop if you are traveling to Rio de Janeiro, which is your final destination. It is one of the world’s most exotic destinations and the perfect beach getaway!
